THE MUPPETS!
Are you guys more famous than ever after this film?
KERMIT: I guess so.
MISS PIGGY: It would be impossible for moi to be more
famous, but if you say I am I’ll take it.
GONZO: We’re famous?
MISS PIGGY: In your case…infamous.
How’s Walter fitting in with the gang?
KERMIT: I think we should let Walter answer that. How are
you fitting in?
WALTER: Just great! This is a dream come true for me. Even
though I seem to be spending most of my time running errands for Miss Piggy.
MISS PIGGY: And loving every minute of it!
WALTER: Whatever you say, Miss Piggy.
KERMIT: Yup, he’s definitely got the hang of surviving
around here.
Are you guys getting together for another film?
MISS PIGGY: We’re not allowed to tell you anything about it.
FOZZIE: Mostly because we don’t know what it’s about either.
WALTER: But I hear it will involve a frog, a pig, a bear and
a….whatever…
GONZO: That’s me!
Would you do any reality TV shows?
GONZO: I don’t do reality. However, I am open to doing a
surreality show, ideally one where I got to swim through
liquid nitrogen.
WALTER: That sounds very dangerous.
GONZO: Very
dangerous is my middle name.
FOZZIE: I thought it was “the”
What’s your favourite cartoons to watch?
MISS PIGGY: The Muppet Babies. It’s like watching home
movie.
KERMIT: Actually those were home movies. We also love anything by Pixar. I’m
really looking forward to their new movie “Brave” starring a valiant young
heroine!
MISS PIGGY: Is it about moi?
KERMIT: No.
MISS PIGGY: Well, I’ll give it a shot anyway.
If you could have any celebrity in the Muppets who would it be? Why?
KERMIT: We’ve been lucky; we’ve worked with so many
celebrities over the years.
MISS PIGGY: Everyone dreams of working with moi.
GONZO: I don’t think “dream” is the exact word they used.
MISS PIGGY: Watch it, weirdo.
KERMIT: The
Muppets are equal-opportunity entertainers; if you want to be one of us, you’re
welcome aboard.
MISS PIGGY: Just remember to bring me a present.
What’s the best thing about being a Muppet?
KERMIT: Being
surrounded by my best friends and getting to sing, dance and make people
happy.
MISS PIGGY: Being with Kermie. And being ludicrously
famous…in that order.
FOZZIE: The
audiences! I love to hear an
audience laugh…or guffaw…or chuckle…or…snicker….Heck, I’ll settle for a stifled
chortle.
GONZO: This is
where I met Camilla. It’s also one
of the few place where I’m accepted for who I am.
MISS PIGGY: Who are you?
GONZO: Beats
the heck outta me….which is the way I like it.
Where’s the strangest place you’ve been recognised?
KERMIT: At a French restaurant. Someone mistook me for their
entrée.
MISS PIGGY: At the Oscars! So many people thought I was
Angelina Jolie, but of course when they got closer, they realised I was even
more beautiful.
KERMIT: Did you just make that up?
MISS PIGGY: Of course not! My publicist did.
The Muppets is out on Blu-ray and DVD on 11 June.
