What made you get back with the old gang and make a new Muppet film?
Well, I received a script and on the front page it said The Muppets so I thought, ‘that’s a good start!’ I knew I didn’t have to audition to be in the movie either so that was good.
There’s a new Muppet called Walter. How did he get involved?
Well, Elmo wasn’t available so we got Walter in. He was very nervous and fainted a lot on set!
How do you think the Muppets come across in the film?
Like a load of absolute bottom of the barrel losers!
Does this film put the Muppets back in the spotlight then?
We’ve done a lot of stuff over the years just not a big movie so this has helped put us back on the map. We work together a lot doing a lot of TV specials and things with the old gang.
Will The Muppets be back on TV regularly on the back of this?
I don’t know if we’ll be back on TV on a regular basis but it would be wonderful I could finally make use of those red curtains I’ve been carrying around for 30 years!
Haha! You’re probably more famous than ever now though!
Things are working very well for us Muppets at the moment. Disney have trusted us to make a film which is good!
So you’re enjoying being back then?
There have been a lot of parodies of The Muppets in our time but we’ve been away from the public eye for a while so maybe it’s our fans way of bringing us back!
Valentines day is just around the corner. What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for Miss Piggy?
Apparently I got Miss Piggy a string of white pearls but I only found that out when I got my credit card statement through!
Why isn’t the film in 3D?
We’ll we’re in 3D all the time. Plus, those glasses give me such a headache I wouldn’t be able to watch my own movie!
The Muppets is in cinemas 10th February

DOLPH ZIGGLER!
How excited are you to be wrestling at the Royal Rumble?
Oh I’m really excited. The Royal Rumble is huge so I can’t wait to be a part of it.
What annoys you most about CM Punk?
I get what he’s doing by putting himself out there and make WWE a better place but he wears a T-Shirt that says, “Best In The World” and that automatically makes him the best in the world! Maybe I’ll wear a shirt that says, “Best in the Universe!” SO I’ll be better than him.
The special referee said he will help defeat CM Punk. So that means you’ll win right?
Well I’m better than him so it won’t matter. I don’t know the referee that well but I know that he went nuts on CM Punk so that’s good. I’m only worried about myself and making sure I out-wrestle Punk and become the world champ!
You’re known for being a bit of a showoff. What reaction do you get from fans when you’re not in the ring?
Most of our WWE fans are happy to see us whether they like us or not. I’m happy to stop and sign autographs and take pictures even if the fans don’t like me!
Who’s your best friend in the locker room?
I have a few friends. I was friends with Zach Ryder and we used to travel a lot between shows but we had a bit of a falling out. I used to travel with Edge and Christian as well but now I travel by myself a lot.
What’s the best match you’ve ever had?
I had a great match with Edge at the last Royal Rumble. I also had a great match with Rey Mysterio in 2010 for the Intercontinental championship at Summerslam. The crowd started cheering for me even though they didn’t know who I was because I was new to WWE so that was a cool moment for me.
Who is the biggest prankster in the locker room?
Hornswoggle is on a different roster to me but I hear he gets up to loads of tricks and plays loads of jokes before the show. He’s the smallest guy but the biggest joker for sure!
Has anything embarrassing ever happened to you in the ring?
Oh gosh yeah! I’m always falling or tripping over. We were in Australia recently and I was doing my ring entrance where I slide on the side of the ring just before getting in and I accidentally slipped off the ring! A few of the fans in the front row were laughing at me but I made up for it in the ring that night!
What advice would you give kids that want to become a WWE Superstar?
I always say if you work harder than everybody else you’ll have a shot at becoming a wrestler. It doesn’t matter what you want to do in life if you work hard at it you can achieve it.
You were the guest banker or Deal or No Deal. What was that like?
Yeah I was a guest banker! I loved doing it I was a really harsh banker with my offers! I nearly made one contestant cry, which was quite funny!
WWE Royal Rumble. Royal Rumble will be shown live and exclusive on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 743) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 753) on Sunday January 29 at 1am

RONALDO!
Do you miss the Premier League?
Of course. I will always be grateful to Manchester United for the opportunities they gave me. England fans are incredible – they live for the game. Now, however, I play for Real Madrid – a place I always dreamed of coming to – and hopefully I can make history here.
Your goalscoring record at Madrid is incredible!
Much credit must also go to my team-mates but I am just loving my football. I want to be remembered as the guy who put smiles on fans’ faces – I want a good legacy that my family will remember.
What’s it like working with Jose Mourinho?
He is the perfect coach. He has experience and a way of working with the players that brings success. He also has confidence in himself and his team which no-one can challenge. He commands respect and rightly so!
Is he better than Sir Alex Ferguson?
They are different but also the same! Both demand perfection and desire. Sir Alex was like a father to me, so he will always have a special place in my heart.
How good is your old team-mate Wayne Rooney?
He is incredible, a footballing machine. He never knows when he is beaten. For me he is easily England’s best player…
And Lionel Messi? Who’s the best – you or him?
I am always asked this question! I admire Messi for what he has done as a footballer – the skills he has are incredible – and you never read bad things about him away from the pitch either. His role in a fantastic Barcelona side is clear to see. But I will let others decide who is best. Yet, I do not see it as a competition between me and him anyway!

LAURA HAMILTON!
Explain to Toxic readers more about Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge...
The show is about pushing yourself as far as you can and challenging yourself. It’s fast paced, full of action and adventure!
Which challenges have you had a go at?
I’ve tried a lot of them. The kids are better than me! There’s one challenge where you have to grab a key without touching the floor because it’s alarmed. I couldn’t do it but the first contestant did it first time!
Are kids more fearless than grown-ups?
There are definitely challenges that contestants get nervous about. There are high-wire challenges 60ft above the fort, which they get a bit scared of doing!
What’s it like working on a REAL fort?
When you arrive it takes your breath away! It’s hard to believe it’s real because it looks like a film set. When we first got here they were taking tigers away because they live here! I wouldn’t want to stay here at night because it’s really creepy!
What’s the most disgusting thing you’ve seen on Fort Boyard?
You have to board a boat to get on the fort, which some people get sea sick on! Then you have to wear a life jacket and get lifted up by a crane on to the fort. It’s quite a challenge just getting on Fort Boyard!
Catch Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge on Saturday 7th January at 9:00am and Monday 9th January at 5:00pm on CITV
