JOHNNY ENGLISH GADGET EXPERT JAMES DAVIS!

What is the top gadget featured in the film, Johnny English Reborn?
My favourite is the electric wheelchair.  We had five chairs, two electric ones for the precision shots and indoors shots, and one had stabilisers that came out when Rowan (Atkinson) gets out onto the road.  We had two petrol driven wheelchairs that went up to 40mph!

What goes into making the gadgets?
We drew things up and then made 3D renderings, which, we then got approved by the director, art department before we got the components together and assembled and painted them. It sounds simple enough but a lot of work goes into that process. We play around with the designs on a computer until they look and feel right before we make them.

What was it loads of fun working on the film?
It was one of the most fun films I’ve ever worked on! We got to go to Hong Kong for a month at the beginning of filming which was a great experience. Working with Rowan was brilliant; he is a genius of a person. He’s a clever man and he creates an enjoyable working environment for everyone on set and he’s hilarious!

Is Rowan like his character, Johnny English?

He really gets involved with all the gadgets but the whole film interests Rowan, not just his part, and he totally immerses himself in it. He is prepared to do things again and again to get them right, not just for comedic timing but also for the detail of each action. He’s not one to stand around and make small talk, his mind is switched onto the shoot the whole time and he’ll be deep in concentration, he’s a very committed actor.

Johnny English Reborn is available now on Blu-ray™ Triple Play and DVD from Universal Pictures UK

Disney Goalmouth presenters Gendle and Tim!

Hi guys! Firstly, what teams do both of you support?
Gendle: Man Utd and Tamworth Town. That’s where I grew up so I’ve always been a Tamworth Town fan. My uncle is the president of the club as well!
Tim: Gendle only supports the teams that are winning! I support Aston Villa because of my family. That’s my excuse anyway!

How do you think England will get on in Euro 2012?
Gendle: We’re always optimistic ahead of every tournament and we beat Spain recently, which is good. But England never do very well in the finals!

Who do you think is better, Messi or Ronaldo?
Tim: Messi definitely! That’s coming from a Man Utd fan as well. He’s just been playing so well and he’s always entertaining to watch!
Gendle: I agree!

What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you guys while filming Goalmouth?
Gendle: I’ve been hit in the face a few times with the ball, which was funny for everyone other than me! I’ve also had some really funny times with former Villa player Dion Dublin! He’s been teaching me how to do football jobs in the new series, such as how to be the grounds man and the team chef!
Tim: He also has loads of sweets in his car so we always look forward to seeing him!

What’s your favourite footy joke?
Gendle: A genie says to an Aston Villa fan, “I’ll grant you one wish.” The Aston Villa fan says, “Can you fix my car, it’s broken!” The genie says, “Sorry that’s impossible it’s too messed up. So the Aston Villa fan says, “Can you make Villa win the cup, then?” To which the genie replies, “Give me your car keys!”

Are you two funnier than Dick & Dom?
Gendle: Ha-ha Easily! We’re like a cheaper version of them actually. Probably better looking!
Tim: We’ll probably beat them at football though!

What’s your favourite ever goal?
Tim: I saw a goal on YouTube where a guy scored a goal from the halfway line the other day but I can’t remember the team!
Gendle: My favourite is Paul Scholes’ volley against Villa. Everyone in the stadium was applauding when that went in!

Who is the best player ever?
Tim: Gazza and Wayne Rooney!
Gendle: David Beckham!

Thanks guys! Finally, who has the smelliest farts out of you two?
Tim: Me. I’m quite proud to say that.
Gendle: Yeah, he stinks!

Goalmouth season two premieres on Thursday 23rd February at 5pm on Disney XD

ANTONIO BANDERAS - PUSS IN BOOTS!

Q: Did you think Puss had so much potential to be a breakout star all those years ago when you first began voicing him?
A: Yes. I knew we could do incredible things with him and make people smile. He's a little kitty cat, but has a huge voice. I think that is a big source of the comedy.

Q: In this movie we meet Humpty Dumpty. What are other factors do you think make Puss in Boots such a fun, family movie?
A: First of all, it involves a great story. There are moments where you will laugh and moments when you might cry. Shrek was set in the medieval times with fairytale characters, but in this movie we are more like spaghetti westerns that were so common in the 1960s.

Q: Puss in Boots also introduces us to Kitty Softpaws, who is voiced by your good friend Salma Hayek.
A: She is a great friend. Salma is not only a beautiful person and, of course, beautiful to look at, but she has a beautiful voice that is perfect for Kitty Softpaws.

Q: Tell us about Puss. What makes him tick?
A: He's fearless. He's a hero. He's passionate. He's romantic. He has a big heart and is very loyal and honorable. He's also cheeky. That's why adults and kids love him. He has many admirable characters.

Q: Superman has his cape. Captain America has his shield. Puss has his boots. They are very important to him, right?
A: Definitely. They are as important as Superman's cape. If Puss doesn't have his boots he's not Puss. He's basically naked. He's not the same.

Q: When you are out in public do kids come up to you and ask you to do the Puss in Boots voice.
A: Sometimes, although the little kids don't recognize me. I'll be in a supermarket and it will be the child's mother or father who will say 'This is Puss'. The kid will look at me strangely and then the mother will ask me to do the voice to prove it. I'll do it and then it clicks with them. You'll see a big smile on their faces.

PUSS IN BOOTS makes a triumphant debut on DVD, 3D Blu-ray and Blu-ray Triple Play in March 26, 2012.
